| King of the Eastern Shore takes place on a remote farm, when a young girl and boy find a stranger hiding in the barn. He enchants them into believing he is a king from a far-off land, shipwrecked on their shore, and swears them to secrecy. As the lyrical story unfolds through a night of mystery, song and celebration, the lives of both the children and their parents are changed forever. |

| Michael Hulett, the playwright and composer, has twice garnered first prize in national competitions. His published plays and musicals are regularly performed in America and Europe. New York productions include Basin Street, with music by jazz legend Turk Murphy. He is presently writing the book for the Broadway revival of Bubbling Brown Sugar.
Riverside Stage is a joint project of Musical Artists Theatre, Inc. and Salem Lutheran Church. The two organizations anticipate the new theater, located next to Riverside Park near Federal Hill, will serve as a community performing arts center, offering plays, concerts and events throughout the year. Performances are April 18, 19, 24, 25, 26 at 8:00 p.m., and Sundays, April 20 and 27 at 3:00. The play’s content is suitable for all ages. Home made desserts and refreshments available.
